Editing 3d in Vegas

Sony Vegas is not our friend. The previews were very choppy and made the video look like it was stop motion.
Sometimes vegas would even stop playing the preview even though it looked like it kept going on the little que area.
We are trying to get the music that Andy made to put on the video. We aren't completely sure, at this moment, how to delete the audio from the footage and use something else. But I'm sure we will be able to figure that out.
Aaron understand Vegas more than the rest of us.
We are now trying to flip the image because we want Aaron to look like he is continuing the same way. We want it to look like he keeps walking through a bunch of hall ways and we only filmed it one way, so we are trying to flip the video the make it look more like what we want.
So now we are hoping that flipping the video will not mess up the 3d. But we will need to try it with the 3d glasses.
Vegas is not a fun program. It takes forever and I like Sony, but dear god.... I bet they have other 3d laptops that have more ram and stuff that make them go faster. They probably just gave UCSD really slow ones that they decided they were ok with parting with.
We are going to also add text for the title. We want it to be on a certain plane so that it doesn't hurt eyes in 3d.
Rendering take forever. Oh the joys of rendering and how interestingly boring it is. Yay for rendering!
Flipping it apparently messes it up. It made the background look like the foreground and it was really weird. So now we have to flip it back around, which kind of sucks.... But whatever.
Now we are trying to import the music that Andy made.
We had to use my computer and put the music on a thumb drive because the 3d laptop would not download it. We don't know why, probably because the computer was too busy running Vegas.
But we got the music on the 3d laptop and put it to the video, and it goes really well together.
Our video is pretty good. It looks like we will finish within class time!
